Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that there will be a dedicated OFR-themed session
at the upcoming AAAR meeting in Raleigh. I am hopeful this will help OFR
techniques, including but not limited to the PAM, to continue to gain
traction in the community.

Please consider submitting an abstract to this year's AAAR if you are able
to attend. I will coordinate with the Aerosol Chemistry and Atmospheric
Aerosol session chairs to ensure the abstracts are grouped correctly. If
the session is successful, we will advocate for including it in future AAAR
meetings.

The addition of the OFR session will change the format of the PAM users
meetings, which, to this point, have been a mix of technical talks and
science applications. This format is quickly becoming unsustainable due to
the addition of more groups to the community. I am hopeful that moving the
applications-themed talks to a dedicated conference session will (1) allow
more focused technical discussion during the PAM users meetings and (2)
alleviate the burden associated with 3+ hour evening meetings as we have
had the last couple years.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

I would like to thank Jose for helping me to make the case that this
session should be implemented. At AAAR, please join me in also
acknowledging Nicole Riemer, Sergey Nizkorodov, Andrew Ault, Roya Bahreini,
Arthur Chan, and Leah Williams.

Best regards,
Andy
