IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) is a major player in research and training in the fields of energy, transport and the environment. It has two geographic sites : in the île-de-France region (Rueil-Malmaison, near Paris) and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (Solaize, near Lyon)
As part of the public-interest mission with which it has been tasked by the public authorities, IFPEN focuses on:

IFP Energies nouvelles, hosts around 150 PhD students in its laboratories.
Among the new PhD subjects for 2024, an offer entitled “Impact of hydrocarbons chemistry on secondary organic aerosol properties" is expected to start in November on our site near Lyon, under the supervision of V. Daele & M. McGillen (ICARE) and M. Matrat/M. Leblanc (IFPEN).
