<p class="MsoNormal">This update represents a significant architectural overhaul focused on long-term stability, real-time data visualization accuracy, and computational robustness. A summary of the main updates is provided below. <o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Resolved Threading Deadlocks:</b> Implemented asynchronous communication protocols.
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Unified COM Port Management:</b> Consolidated all Serial Port communication logic into a single, global interface.
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Seamless Multi-Tasking:</b> The transition to asynchronous messaging allows users to interact with all hardware controls in real-time without needing to pause or "uncheck" data acquisition.
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Centralized Data Processing:</b> Streamlined the data flow so that all raw strings from the instrument are parsed in one location before being distributed to the various graphing and logging subroutines.
